KINDLE A LIGHT
As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light of meaning in the darkness of mere being.
- C.G. Jung
Welcome
Synchronicity. That you have found your way here, on this day and in this moment, is meaningful. What will you discover?
My philosophy of therapy and counseling is based on the belief that personal growth is a lifelong process -- a journey that sometimes we travel alone and sometimes we walk together. I believe it is best facilitated by listening, honoring, and voicing the uniqueness of YOU, witnessing your story, welcoming your intuition, noticing synchronicities, and tending Soul.
"Our deepest vocation is to root ourselves enough in this life that we can open our hearts to the light of experience, and so, bloom." (Mark Nepo)
I welcome your inquiry and look forward to talking with you.

Animae mundi colendae gratia.
For the sake of tending soul in and of the world.
I am honored to answer this call. I believe in growth and the soul’s innate ability to heal. I believe in the temenos [sacred container] of therapy to support and facilitate healing in profound ways.
Therapeutic Relationship
Research and experience show that the therapeutic relationship is the most important component of a healing experience. Finding a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and who meets your needs is an important and personal process. I would be honored to discuss the possibility of working together.

"And then the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
- Anaïs Nin
Modes of Treatment
I specialize in Jungian-oriented therapy and personal growth work with individuals and couples. I utilize a framework consisting of psychodynamic, archetypal and imaginal elements to support insight and growth through metaphor, art, mythology, poetry, music, writing, and images. I approach therapy as an opportunity for safely experiencing emotions, creating insight, and intuiting a process toward healing. I honor cultural diversity and complexity, spiritual and religious exploration, and sexuality and gender identity processes.
Primary practices include talk therapy, dreamwork, process-based art, and creative expression.
Secondary practices include depth-oriented and solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive and behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, and communication skills.
